(Rewatch duh but endlessly securing its place in my top 5 films) the whole thing makes me feel like I’m on the verge of drowning!!! Each shot is thick and velvety and necessary. It is beautiful and captures something heady about the lesbian experience and the feeling of oneness and reflection in another. Therese crying after going to Carol’s house for the first time….Therese throwing up on the drive back to NYC….Therese shivering! I’m sick…it’s gorgeous.
