A Coffee in Berlin 2012
Half star less because of the ending. Really enyoed the the rest of the movie and the facial expressions of Tom Schilling, but the ending was unnecessary…not every german movie needs to contain content of past nazi Germany. I get that this is part of Berlin history, but please don‘t let there be drama.

Honestly the film just lived off the big hits. Don‘t expect anything more than a story which will lead you from song to song. They are showing emotions but no character development which makes you understand why the characters act the way they do. They can‘t deliver the emotional depth here. Maybe that‘s the real tragic. Anyway who needs all this films about great actors and singers…maybe their stories should stand for themselves.
