The Brutalist 2024
Cinematography was amazing! It didn’t feel terribly long thanks to the intermission. The second part went by pretty quick I would actually say, but it got even darker and heavier as the movie went on. Second act was a lot to take in.

The Substance 2024
took forever to see this because I was scared of the body horror. Pleased to say it didn’t freak me out as much as I thought it might. Loved the concept, the acting, the plot. I loved that there was so little dialogue throughout so much of the film and it really relied on performances and visual storytelling.
