Timothée je m’inquiète pour tes poumons après toutes les cigarettes que tu as fumées.
C’était impressionnant, la façon dont le rôle de Bon Dylan a été interprété. Heureusement que je l’ai vu en VO parce que je trouve que Timothée Chalamet a vraiment réussi à le représenter à l’écran, que ce soit sa voix ou ses manières d’être. Comme dirait Charles, “C’est le goat”.

What's interesting about this film is the way the "love story" is seen by both people. At first, Summer doesn't believe in fate or true love whereas Tom is a romantic and believes in finding his soulmate. In the end, the roles are inversed.
The "expectations vs reality" scene is one of the cleverest in the film because it shows how Tom's relationship with Summer was more something that he has created in his head than a true love story.
