visually stunning movie. I wish it had just slowed down and let us invest in the characters more, rounded out the plot a little.

There just wasn’t a climax at all. The beginning was good but then it just sort of lagged and never recovered until maybe the literal last minute. However I do think that the idea behind story was important. It sheds light on a subject that more people should be exposed to. I think somewhat accurately depicted what it’s like for a victim, both emotionally and legally. But at the end of the day it’s a movie and something about it was just lacking.
