I watched part of this with my mum and I think it hit her in the feels just as much as it hit me, and I gave her a big fat hug when it finished.
Nothings made me feel as much emotion as this films airport scene since ‘slipping through my fingers’ in mamma mia and that says a lot.

Ngl the thing I vibed most with in this film was the soundtrack, super feel good and entertaining… until the guy got all depressed n all.
Kinda p’d off at myself for temporarily falling into the trap of blaming summer for hurting that cutie patootie, but I guess that’s the point of the film being from his perspective and all. But realistically, girl made her intentions clear and never chose to be made into a fantasy by him.
(ok a small part of me still very much sympathises with the hopeless romantic)

This was heavily depressing, nostalgic and emotionally scarring and I think everyone who's ever loved someone needs to watch it. I can't believe I've gone my whole life not knowing this film existed.
