  I saw this in theaters. I loved it then, love it now. One of the best things about Miyazaki is the way he writes girl’s stories- tries to make them impactful, powerful outside of romance/men. This one? I feel like this one shows why. This boy’s love of his mom, and his new stepmom. The way he is taught by strong women (and grows with said women). I get it. Thanks man.

  Also, any movie with Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson wins in my book.
