Nausicaa inspiration was not what i expected to see but very much welcome - also Elliott Smith mentioned?!
Funny and thought-provoking while also being constantly exciting and gripping i was hooked the whole way through. Usually i get icked out by sex and romance in films being corny but this was so surprisingly tender and sweet with its moments that i genuinely loved that aspect.
