In the Mood for Love 2000
I went into this movie blind and had stupidly thought it would be a classic romance, but it’s so much more dynamic than that. It’s subtle yet loud, theatrical yet subdued — covering the rollercoaster that is life and the complicated emotions and perhaps fleeting moments that steer us in different directions. The colors and styling are stunning (I want all her dresses). The slow motion scenes were addicting. This movie is an art piece.
