Lost me the first 30 or so minutes. The characters weren’t clicking for me yet. Maybe I shouldn’t compare old characters to now characters? Or perhaps to pre-existing characters? Idk.
Once Monica Bellucci appeared on screen, it instantly caught my attention (I’m gay, it was inevitable). *Don’t put a timeless beauty on screen because I WILL be bias & say it’s the best fucking movie ever made on this planet.* (Jk that’s a stretch but it definitely helped)

Eerie and a bit kooky.
Longlegs was serving up some Lana Del Rey realness & I was here for it.
Cinematography was incredible, as were the transitions and score.
The ending fell very flat for me. As someone who is hyper analytical, I need reasons and answers for why things are the way they are.
