Hard Eight 1996
Fantastic film, my first P.T.A movie, and I find it really cool that the whole movie is set in Reno since I've lived here nearly all my life. It was a lot of fun to point out every location I know!! Great cast, the Phillip Seymour Hoffman bit was wonderful, and the acting from Phillip Baker Hall was next level. I had a lot of fun with this and very much look forward to watching the rest of P.T.A's filmography !!!!

The Piano Teacher 2001
my partner has such a great way of picking totally chill, non-emotionally devastating films on date night and this is just another to add to the list! (also i haven't been able to stop thinking about this performance, turning it to 5 stars even if it's a hard watch)
