This film was such a journey. I loved how much less dialogue there was during the story. All the music and the story itself show in a horrible yet spectacular way how women perceive their bodies and how unrealistic society's expectations of womanhood are. Brutalistic and grandiose. It could be a huge masterpiece, but they destroyed the whole tone with such a funny/nonsensical ending. I suggest you watch it until the thing is explored, that's a good ending... you don't need anything else.
It was ok, not very interesting but a good portrayal of the mundanity in a family during the nazi's government. Quite funny for instance, full of good photography and the constant question: when is it going to start the main problem? It is a described narration, not a completed story. Nice to see, a little boring but a new perspective of the Holocaust.
It was funny but tragic at the same time, I couldn't believe it would be the most devastating movie I've seen so far this year. Relatable and sympathetic characters, you learn how to love them with their particular attitudes. If you wanna laugh and cry ... not knowing when you go from one to the other, this is your movie.
It was a beautiful story told in a pretty way. It explores how complicated can be love and human connection. I liked the joyful acting of Greta Lee, very relatable, soft, real, and touching. Great story to watch by yourself; I don't think it may be a good move to watch with a romantic partner without expecting that there's not gonna be a huge and deep conversation about it. Lovely and devastated, both at the same time.
