After Yang 2021
Although this film left me with an eerie sense of longing, the slow unveiling of Yang's life invokes so much serenity. Every frame feels so intentional and well crafted, and I believe this film in its entirety belongs in a museum.
That said, don't let the surreal beauty of this film distract you from the fact that Colin Farrell did a damn fine Werner Herzog impression while making tea.
