  Is this a fictional world like Mustafar or Arakis? Or Mars or some Lava planet beyond our Solar system.

  Masked spacemen speak in some unintelligible tongue and soak themselves in oil and water. But it doesn’t even seem like they fight the oil. They are tending to it, stoking it, or even extracting it and smiling while it covers them. “Has life without fire become unbearable for them?”

  There is no blitzkrieg here. No tanks rolling over the European plain with explosions and ammunition flying overhead. There is passing mention of a bombing raid. There are no documentaries or photos of the horrors. Gunshots from beyond the wall, gold teeth, and clothes given to the servants to be distributed are all we are witness to. 

  Behind the wall there is evil. On this side there are promotions, mothers-in-law, marital squabbles and sibling arguments.
