the cinematography was great and all but the whole movie was a slump, there was barely any chemistry between the leads.the movie feels like its trying to say something but doesn't have the balls to do so,most of the characters (other than the father of course) were so unlikable. the dynamic btwn elio and oliver was so uninteresting nothing they did felt natural, the editing was shite, some shots felt completely pointless. overall a very underwhelming experience.2 stars for the soundtrack
