Pleasure re-watching the 4k restored digital version at Wender's King of the Road exhibition. He watched the film with the audience and later discussed it with us. Privileged

Will cherish this experience for the rest of my life.

Epic movie making. An absolute masterclass from Denis Villeneuve.

Nolan's most mature work till date. Capturing a cannon event, the complex historical context along with the psyche of a conflicted genius is no easy task, and Nolan does it with unflinching focus.

It's hard to categorize this, it's about one of the most important events in the history of mankind but also about a conflicted soul, it's about overarching guilt but also about ambition, it's a political thriller but also a biopic, it's about the historical and political context…

Scorsese places you in the middle of an unfolding tragedy. A tragedy about Greed, Racism and the systematic killing of an entire community. No savior or flashy comeuppance is delivered cause History is often just like this. It might feel underwhelming for those conditioned to expect one.

A very tough, brave and important subject matter which very few people would attempt let alone handle with such grace.

Also a masterful study into the minds of the principle characters, whilst maintaining unflinching focus on this tale of carefully orchestrated evil.

P.S. Lily Gladstone delivers one of the strongest acting performances of the century.
