  I did want to like this more because it was beautifully filmed. The director did a great job at showing the desperation, toxicity and beauty of their relationship. I just wanted more depth to the characters. It was great seeing Daniel Craig in a different role and he did an exceptional job. I felt his isolation. The other characters just fell flat for me. They just seemed a bit half baked like Jason’s character was just very stereotypical and didn’t bring much.

  I can go on all day about why shows like this is so important right now. This show does a great job at encapsulating the rising issues of crimes against women in the uk. More and more stories pop up in the news of boys lashing out at women but not a lot is said about the root cause. This show helps spark up the debate on whether an act so violent could have been prevented.   Idky it took me so long to finally watch this movie but now I can appreciate how iconic it is. It’s literally Mulan but with football. Definitely not a film you take seriously
