    What a wild ride this is. Bong Joon Ho pulls no punches in this over the top, political, science fiction comedy, gleefully lampooning Trump and the cult of Maga, in a crazy tale about colonisation, immigration, capitalism, egotism and environmentalism, which is also a love story laced with buffoonery and satire. There are so many things going on that it often feels like a tidal wave of ideas, but they all stick and the cast are uniformly fantastic. I had an absolute blast with this, an imaginative tour deforce, which pours scorn and mockery on the state of the modern world.
