i'm not gonna lie i was kind of disappointed because i think my expectations were set high and the ideas in this film are all things i usually emotionally resonate but almost every single really tragic scene felt super emotionally flat and very contrived and i was not moved. and the last scene with his two sons especially like that was dumb as fuck like it felt like a disney ending fr "its okay we all cry dad we'll be your brothers" ... okay so actually you're 7 why are you speaking like that
