Absolutely love this movie! Great to see Awkwafina in a more serious role and kill it, too! The subtle humor outlining the dramatic events was tastefully done and the shots of Changchun were breathtaking.

First time I've watched it since I was a kid and I'm happy that I love it just as much if not more than back then! From the wonderful adaptation of the book to the fantastic shots and fun acting from the whole cast, this is a movie I will continue to revisit with the same love and enthusiasm. I was so pleasantly surprised to see that Danny DeVito had directed it! Kudos, man! Job well done!!
