  Was this a good literary adaptation… hell no. Was this a thoroughly enjoyable two hours? Definitely. I looked at these reviews and thought how bad can it be? I mean it’s everything the reviews say, but one thing it is not is boring. And I mean, I’d rather watch something pulpy than boring at the end of the day. It did go completely off the rails in the last forty minutes, but at the end of the day, I can forgive it. Pulpy and cheap, but definitely not boring.

  I came into this with small expectations, as some one I know said they didn’t like it all that much, but it ended up being a pretty great film! It is entertaining, and I for one love the green-washed aesthetics of some 90s/2000 films (think fight club, Seven, Saw, you get the picture).
