This second viewing occurred after I'd spend the day with an elderly gay friend. We talked about politics, history and sexuality and visited an LGBT+ bookstore. So ending the day with movie that celebrates male sexuality in all it's tenderness felt like a beautiful epilogue.
The subtitles helped me with a lot of dialogue I couldn't catch during my first watch, now months ago.
