  ‘Skinamarink’ will not be for everyone but personally, it was one of the most effective horrors I’ve ever seen. It felt like I was living through a forgotten childhood nightmare. The feeling this film elicits is most comparable to what it feels like being the last kid awake at a sleepover or being home alone for the first time, combined with the feeling of someone or something being behind you for an entire night.

  The best and possibly only good aspect of this movie is Susanne Lothar’s insanely real and emotional performance. She acted her ass off. I’d even say it was Oscar worthy. Too bad the actual story was so unsatisfactory.
