It’s a cold world. Especially in NYC. I like how they told the story from the brokers perspective. It completes the story with The Big Short. Acting was good and you really feel sucked into the drama and magnitude of “real people” affected in 2008. Should’ve been buying land instead of playing Guitar Hero II in my parents basement…

Cornball special. Extra sharp cheesy. Jill like it so that earned it an extra half star. Ryan Reynolds cameo was the highlight. Did I say it was corny? Like really really corny. Like second hand embarrassment for us like when you watch someone filming themselves dancing. It was good for something light, but you will lose brain cells.

Well I never thought I’d be one of those “the book was better than the movie” guys but alas here we are. Separating the art from the artist it was solid movie. I loved the book so it was cool to see anything attempt the same story. The stuff they left out/changed were major deviations from the plot. Can’t punish them too much for it. 

It was the most French film I’ve ever seen. Like even the action was French if that makes sense.

Ok. Gonna start this off by saying I know there was controversy about this one and I’m also gonna say that tbh I didn’t know what any of it was about (nor the movie plot for that matter). Raw first opinion: I liked it. Good story, good acting. There’s a weight to this one. Not something you go see on a first date, but overall decent storyline. 

I’ll now google what the heck people were talking about.
