Really makes you want to move to the countryside, work the land, give your all for your kids, and accept them for who they are.

I really loved how much this film covered allowing you to see the quiet growth of the 3 main characters as its focus slowly passes from one to the next. It’s down to earth and small and the fantasy element is never distracting.

Nature and its wildness. Nature and its inevitableness. Nature and the desire to learn and tame it.

The editing, writing, acting, directing, even the music only being an 11 year old practicing the piano, everything is so intentional and engaging.
