Secret Mall Apartment 2024
As someone from providence who heard about this story when I was an artistic high schooler and spent many teenage hours at the Providence Place Mall, I’m so glad this story has been preserved and amplified. Was so great to catch it with my bestie (also from RI) at IFC in New York with a Q&A featuring some of the cast, director, and Jesse Eisenberg. Such an amazing tale about gentrification, the housing crisis, capitalism, and how art and community building really do improve lives.
