  Kingdom of Heaven 2005

  Bloated beyond belief.

  Orlando Bloom could not act to save his life. 

  The plot is “and then and then and then” with nothing making sense

  The protagonist is handed everything to him and is such a Gary Stue. Earns nothing. 

  And while it claims to be historically accurate, it paints a very very false picture of the crusades and the relations between Christians and the Arabs. 

  And the Directors cut somehow makes the movie worse by a long shot.

  A hollow husk decorated to fool the masses. 

  For the record, going into this film I was actually optimistic about it. But the only horror this film provides is that another disappointment has joined the Alien series. 

  ~ The characters (if you can even call them that) are just basic descriptions such as pregnant woman, stupid Brit, and girl who wants to see the sun. There is nothing of depth with these characters. Furthermore they are some of the stupidest…

  Jesus Revolution 2023

  A fantastic film! 

  The story takes great care of its many characters. I was surprised that the main story isn’t about the revolution itself but rather about a kid named Greg. The story swings back and forth between the main characters: Greg, Cathy, Chick, & Lonnie. They all were explored, fleshed out, and felt relatable. 

  The message and themes were subtle but powerful. The cinematography, design, and artistic choices were very good. I will be seeing it again real soon!
