Michel Foucault: Beyond Good and Evil 1993
nothing new really... interesting biographical approach to his work, which of course provides context but is not necessary for reading. For a man who sought very intentionally not to be known intimately, it is interesting that there are so many biographers who attempt to uncover the secrets of his private life. There were hot takes about his validity in the academic setting, few of which were hashed out in any meaningful way. Definitely an aspect of romanticism of his life and madness which are certainly unhelpful.
