Lost Highway 1997
A pathetic male power fantasy betrays the psyche of a brutal, terrifying man. The soundtrack had some insane choices which contributed hugely to the off-kilter atmosphere. As some reviews have mentioned, this somewhat feels like a precursor to Mulholland Drive: themes regarding the dark underbelly of the entertainment industry, cuckoldry, a brunette lady turning blonde etc. Amazing to watch this for the first time on the big screen!

Probably my least favourite of Bong's (at least from what I've watched of his). Kinda like a less interesting version of Starship Troopers crossed with a less interesting version of The Double. I liked the performances (especially Pattinson and his silly voice), there are some great scenes in there, the effects and CGI are pretty great, but all that couldn't really help me connect with the plot, which I thought was pretty messy. Snowpiercer was structured way better than this and in general I preferred the way that movie did things.
