V 1983
Inspired by current events, I got around to rewatching V. I remember watching it when it aired as a rerun on the El Rey Network. It’s legitimately eerie how well the miniseries’s allegorical storytelling holds up.

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
Captain America: Brave New World is an enjoyable movie, but it couldn’t shake the deflated and basic feeling it has.

After nearly twenty years since 2006’s remake of the original, the Omen franchise returns with The First Omen.
Firstly, Arkasha Stevenson’s direction and the editing by Bob Murawski were INCREDIBLE. It’s crazy to me because you can’t even tell that Stevenson had a background in television. Her eye for tension also made the gore more effective. The way she also mixed gory imagery with commentary on the manipulation of a woman’s body was also genius.
Hollywood needs to give Nell Tiger…
