I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Bong Joon Ho’s best movie isn’t sci-fi. When he does sci-fi, I think he has too much fun and things get a bit scatterbrained. Too many threads in this. The drug dealing thread, the thread about the loan shark following them, the mutiny thread, the assassination thread! I liked the first half, because my favorite part was the cloning thread!
