I went to film school with this one kid who was super rich and was always somehow getting these hot, well-known, talented ppl to act in these bizarre, specious movies that he’d film on his fancy RED camera. His movies always looked good (?), but every script read like a daytime television fever dream with banal dialogue and confusing character motivations. Watching this felt exactly like watching one of his shorts and made me miss college.
Half a star for unintentional nostalgia and half a star for Adam Scott.
