Started off very entertaining, lots of humor and fun world building. A fresh look on sci fi that we haven’t gotten in a while but this feeling trickles off towards the end… More than anything this movie shows that BJH is still a great director and Pattinson has one of the most impressive ranges of any actor today.

I probably shouldn’t be so hasty but my first impression is this movie may be perfect. There is so many stories and themes within this one movie that all come together so perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed having my heart warmed and ripped apart multiple times within these 2 hours.

12 Angry Men 1957
Truly a film worth studying.
This movie notably has amazing character development and cinematography which are highlighted by there only being one set and 12 characters. Each of the 12 characters speak a lot to the strengths and weaknesses of unique human experiences.
I love how the 12 men remain unnamed throughout the movie considering in the first few minutes I was overwhelmed by the amount of characters introduced at once and my hope to learn their names and differences. However, by the end of the movie you understand how an audience can come to personally know characters deeply even without a normal introduction.
