    Interview with the Vampire

    ★★★★½

It was interesting how this movie was put together, as it seemed like a very prototypical vampire movie and yet wasn't at the same time. Throughout there was a lot that was confusing, and there seemed to be some very intentional homoerotic aspects, which seemed strange. However, I was still enticed by how the plot continued, though it seemed to hurry through the end part. For the parts that were understandable, which was most of the movie by the end, it was done very well and highlighted the struggle of Louis. Not my favorite Brad Pitt acting performance, however. Overall: 8.5/10

    Nosferatu

    ★★★★

Obscenely strange but still very well put together, Nosferatu is incredibly dark and quite well done. The soundtrack and the acting is incredible, and though it tends to drag a bit through the early movie it comes to a good climax. There are still some very weird parts to the movie, some of which probably carry on a little longer than they should've. Regardless, the movie is very well done, and does a little more with the vampire genre than I expected. Overall: 8.3/10

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

    ★★★½

Although there's not much that's super flashy about this movie, and just felt like one long Breaking Bad episode, El Camino does a nice job of wrapping up Jesse’s story, putting everything in place that was left off at the end of the show. Definitely a little bit of a fan service, the movie basically comes off as an homage to the development of Jesse as a character, and allows for a little more screen time for some cut out moments of the past. Was this movie entirely necessary? Probably not. However, it's still worth watching. The music taste of the creators remains top-tier. Overall: 7.7/10

    Heretic

    ★★★★

While Heretic makes some amusing points about the futility of religion through the lens of presenting it to two missionaries, the story overall seems to be missing a certain mystique that would put it on a higher level. The movie plays out quite slow and is mainly focused on the dialogue, and although it plays out very well at the beginning the plot seems to get a little frayed near the end. The acting by Hugh Grant is fantastic, and the movie points out that nobody wants to be preached at regardless of the presence of religious beliefs. Overall: 7.9/10
