    A very solid Valentine’s Day watch. Some classic romance (with just a little turbulence to keep things interesting), hilarious psychic interactions, and a satisfying feel-good ending. Always nice when romance leads actually have chemistry like Moore and Swayze do here.

    Man - couldn’t help but fall for the charm of this movie. How do you not love Hugh Grant in this? And his motley crew. Julia Roberts was a bit of an asshole at times… but you gotta root for love to win out.

    Um… what? Was optimistic about this one going in, hearing about all the nominations and awards, but that was a tough watch. Can’t remember another time in a theater like that where I actively couldn’t wait for the movie to end. It felt like the wacky rich kid was the only thing holding the movie together, once he disappears it really gets exposed. Boring, repetitive, and jarring all at the same time. Plot so predictable it was irritating. No real character development, or interesting characters at all for that matter. Too much screaming for my taste. Really struggling to understand what people enjoyed about this movie.
