  A little trite and a little much going on plot wise but the singing and dance numbers as well as the set and costume designs pull you through. It’s sure to become a regular staple for some kinds every Christmas I just wish there weren’t so many layers and plot points to allow some of the characters to breathe a little (especially ms Johnston who has my favourite number and in my opinion could’ve done with one more). You can’t really complain to much when a Christmas movie tries to pack in too much Christmas cheer though and especially when it leaves you smiling so often.
