Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves 2023
Maybe it's just been too long since a good movie came out but this movie was like a sprite in the Sahara Desert, in the sense that maybe it wasn't the best thing ever but felt so so good. It was funny without needing to be quippy and annoying, it had some great characters, and it had some really touching messages to go along with it. I cried just a little. Overall, great movie and I hope they make more.

Black Adam 2022
Great movie from a visual standpoint, the colors and animations were mostly great and the costuming and effects were good. The music was also pretty banger, if a little unoriginal. However, the characters were shallow and poorly introduced, with the mother's intentions being murky and unclear, the little boy somehow being both 20 and 8 years old simultaneously. Black Adam himself has very little emotion and is a very confusing character, even after learning about his backstory. Overall, it's a very predictable super hero movie and the best part ends up being the closing scene when Superman makes an entrance.
