(I’m not sure why they speak Russian so slow, I think real dialogues would be faster and with more mumbling and blurring, but also I haven’t really heard a native speaker talk under those specific conditions)
I like the contrast of noise and silence, the “thank you” and thank you. It’s an artsy film but I didn’t have to look for the resolution, it’s rather clear. Everything releases at a very beautiful moment.

I wouldn't mind if all characters were muted.

This is my first time watching it. I know 22 years have passed, but art should hold longer than that.
They all seem so immature. And after 6 hours, I still don't know much, if anything at all, about any character's story/life prior.
