some parts of this movie were nice but 80% of it was cringe and the acting was very mediocre. especially since they had ziegler literally play herself. and i find it interesting how the millennials get perks of being a wallflower as their generation's defining movie while us gen z'ers get school shooter trauma and 1.5hrs of the main character being drunk and high & having 1 breakthru w her therapist like wow claps. if we had internal monologue from vada i think the movie wouldve been so much better
