This movie will forever be my favorite movie. After being stuck in an endless pit of depression and despair, this movie taught me that sometimes there is more to life. Now, it's not necessarily a happy or heartfelt movie, but it shows the ups and downs of a teenager who struggles with mental health issues. I related to Charlie's character thoroughly, and saw parts of myself in him. A beautiful coming of age film to watch when you're in need…

(500) Days of Summer 2009
THIS MOVIE MADE ME CRY SO HARD AT SOME POINTS. Not much of a heartthrob so not sure why I cried, maybe it's just at how well made the movie is, and how accurately it describes how heartbreak can be. Brought me back to my first wlw relationship which probably made me cry much more than I would've anyways.

tick, tick... BOOM! 2021
Again, not a fan of musicals but this one definitely changed me (for the better). Andrew Garfield's acting in the movie is unreal, he's got such a wide variety of character types he can act, and his voice is absolutely incredible in this. Lin Manuel Miranda's directing was absolutely incredible, but that is a given because he's always been incredibly talented. This movie pulled at my heartstrings and might have made me cry a few times... but it was amazing nonetheless, and I would definitely watch it again.

La La Land 2016
I'm not really into musicals, but this was by far the best one I've seen yet. The idea seemed so unoriginal by the description, but then the characters and the film and the situations were so fresh and new, it made it extremely enjoyable to watch and I'm going to be watching this more often now. Plus can we talk about how good Emma and Ryan's chemistry was. The execution and thought behind every little detail of this movie was simply amazing.
