some select thoughts i had while watching:
- me when im a bully sending mean texts in a 2000s cyberbullying psa: "hahahahaha LoOOOser"
- there was a troll face on the title screen.

this was not as bad as i expected but also not good. just mid. if it were adapting any other horror rpgmaker game i'd probably be harsher on it but i think ao oni just lends itself well to that shlocky horror film energy. the oni itself looked ridiculously bad tho. ao oni was not meant for hyperrealistic cgi and it shows
