I thought this was a really unique and creative film from the way it was displayed entirely on computers, CCTVs, and other in-universe hardware, and the plot was really engaging and pulled me in quickly. Some solid performances too and a wonderful use of “show don’t tell”.

No way we got the best film of the year in March already. I was heavily looking forward to this film, and it delivered haaard. Robert Pattinson was absolutely amazing as Mickey, both 17 and 18 and was easily the standout performance of the film. Mark Ruffalo was genuinely hilarious in this film, doing an amazing job of playing a satirical impression of Donal Trump. cinematography is actually amazing, and so are the visuals, premise, and world-building. Dune: Part Two 2024
This definitely improved for me upon rewatch. The film is visually gorgeous, the action is badass, the score is absolutely electric. The world building of Arrakis is incredibly well done, and all around great performance, particularly from Timothee Chalamet and Austin Butler(I needed more of him as Feyd Rautha). Paul’s arc is incredible too and is absolutely pleasing to see. I had some pacing issues with it on my first watch, but it was a lot better on this watch.
