  While I thought the animation for the most part was very stylish, the writing is what really kills it; I understand taking some artistic liberty with the source material, but it ended up not feeling like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to me. It’s a shame, because Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells Vs The Machines) has proven to give strong and funny character family dynamics; the problem was trying to be like the kid-friendlier version of Kick-Ass meets Velma (2023).
