  Really loved this movie. It's sacrine in the same way that all of Shinkai's work tends to be but it's maybe the best one of these he's done.

  So I just finished this up for the first time and I'm feeling conflicted.

  It's well-made, with a well-implemented soundtrack and pretty good performances. It's also an interesting story, more or less. Not a lot happens, sure, but the whole idea that Ben has set out to end his life by drink and how that plays out are worth the screen-time.
