i tend to be put off by films that involve police sympathy as a core tenet - it's just an assumption that doesn't sit right with me. the only way to get me to sympathize with a cop is to kill them. this has that in droves, which i love. under that, however, is a story of class struggle and militarization against poverty coated in cheesy one liners and a murderous synth soundtrack. stop making movies about cops - it stops dumbasses like me from seeing cool movies!
