Is Citizen Kane the greatest film of all time? Probably not. But does that stop it from being undeniably incredible? Absolutely not! You can be in the minority and say it’s a boring film or you can be in the majority and say it’s incredible. While I’m in the majority, I’d like to expand by pointing out how ahead of the time of not only the film, but Orson Welles.

Despite being in an uneventful singular setting throughout the entire film, The Guilty still does a great job at building tension, thanks to Jake Gyllenhaal. While I feel this film was lazily made, it’s not a bad film and is mostly enjoyable.
