I found this film very difficult to watch. I would describe it as a time capsule from late stage capitalism, that does well to capture the performative, hollow interactions that are often rewarded within it, as well as the power dynamics and daily injustices marginalized identities endure to navigate and survive. This immediately became one of my favourite films. Slow paced but in a very soothing way; not in any way dull. I feel like I'll rewatch this whenever I need a reminder to appreciate life, or a reminder that if things are feeling mundane, it's perhaps because I'm not looking at them closely or attentively enough. I would describe this film as a gift to the nervous system and the spirit :)
