  No one does Cockneys With Guns like Guy Ritchie does. I never got round to this one back in the day. It's no Snatch, but it's a lot of fun.

  Have just been treated to the Ultimate Cut at Cannes - gloriously restored, reconstructed from 90hrs of footage, with an animated intro by Dave McKean.

  When I saw it on DVD about 20 years ago (jesus) I couldn't make head or tails of it - it seemed really incoherent. But now, fully restored to as close to the original vision as possible, it all made much more sense.
