Moses and Aaron 1975
I expected a bit more given Schoenberg’s source material. I appreciate the expression of the infinite/undefinable, but could have been more imaginative at least in the golden calf sequence. Would loved to have seen surreal usage of space. All in all, slightly more rewarding than following along to the cd with the libretto.
