    1) The edge of seventeen was a very enjoyable movie with a main character that felt realistic Nadine a shy girl with one very close friend and a brother she dislikes who seemingly has the perfect high school life along with a judging mother who favors her brother and relies on him to solve everything ever since her husband died. The story while at first looks predictable is far from what you would think when Nadine’s best friend starts to…

I liked this movie but I don’t think it was a very well written movie and didn’t have anything special that really made it stand out. This movie was a unique and very well rounded with realistic characters and a believable story that would not be surprising to see happen to modern day teenagers. Another strong point of the movie was the music with varying styles of music that had undertones that added tension and stress to the scenes. The ending of the movie has to be my favorite part with a movie full of dread and stress a hopeful ending was a great way to wrap everything up.
